Who is Doctor-X?

Let me introduce you one of our incredible Village City superhero. He is known as Doctor X! He is not one of the superheroes in literature, television show or movies. He goes beyond the call of duty and often risking his own life for protecting innocent people. Who can say one dramatic incident can turn a regular doctor life to an extraordinary superhero!!!

Doctor X has the power of x-ray vision, advanced auditory sensing, improved sense of touch and oversensitive taste buds. The only one that doesn’t pass through him is smell. 

It all began when…..

Doctor X was an ordinary doctor for the Memorial Hermann Hospital on the radiology department in year of 2004. One day he obtained his great superpower through a power outage during X ray scan for his patient. The radioactive glucose altered him forever. With his super abilities, Doctor X is able to know things are going to happen from before they happen and send telepathic message to other superheroes. 

I spoke with the patient who witness, Mr. Steve,  Doctor X gain his powers for the first time. Check the following for my interview questions and answers. I would like to thanks to Mr. Steve for this interview and his time to tell me about this amazing life time story.

Q: How long were you a patient of Doctor X?

A:Well, I knew him for a long time. I guess you can say we became friends over time.

Q: What kind of personality did Doctor X have?

A: He was a nice and fun guy who at times be cocky. Now I am not sure anymore.

Q:What exactly happened the day Doctor X got his powers?

A: I was in the hospital to have an X-ray for my broken arm. Cause I know the doctor for a long time, I went to the X-ray room right away. The doctor was testing a new model that he invented. He was so happy to see me, so he thought that I could be the first person to try it. I first hesitated, but then later agreed to use the new machine. When I was getting ready, doctor was adjusting the computer then all of a sudden, a bright green beam happened right in front of my eyes. He threw me out of the room as fast as possible and locked himself inside. It was such a moment, I will never ever be able to forget in my life.

I was able to see him from the small glass window of the door. He seemed to have a lot of pain, and the last thing I remember, his eyebrows, hair and skin turned green color. Since then, I haven’t seen or talked to him.

Brain is the source of all our thoughts and actions.  It is built of millions of neurons which are building blocks of brain and our nervous system.  This amazing creation seems to have affected for Doctor X!

Neuron Anatomy

Look at the following picture of a typical neuron.  Axon is the communicator with another, creates communication network in nerve system and results of human behavior. Myelin Sheaths is Axon protector for external influence on transmission of neural impulse.  Doctor X Myelin Sheaths is thinker that other people so information will travel faster from receptor through other neurons to effectors. This allows Doctor X to have much faster reaction to the senses like a speed of light.

Thalamus 

The thalamus works as an operator and located between the cerebral cortex and midbrain. It is a structure sending and receiving signals throughout the body.  It also involves all senses, aside from smell. When Doctor X thalamus exposed to X-ray radiation during the accident, he has expanded thalamus which allows him X-ray vision, advanced auditory sensing, improved sense of touch and oversensitive taste buds. The only weakness that he cannot smell anything. However, because of his other super senses this barely affects him to know what is going to happen before it happens.  Doctor X also uses his telepathic powers to send messages through his brain to other superheroes if he senses anything is wrong in Village City.

What does Doctor X do with all that power? Life time story I had been in!

September 28, 2007, in a sunny Sunday, I was going to the Football game. On the way to the Football game, I stopped by the supermarket and all of a sudden CIA agents show up everywhere in the area. They were surrounding the entire supermarket, I was trying to understand what was going on. The gun fire started, then suddenly out of nowhere Doctor X appeared and pushed me side to stop a bullet to strike me. I saw the shooter start running, but Doctor X with his super sense just jumped in front him and captured him. Immediate CIA agents came over to hand cuffed him. I was still in shock and tiers, could not understand what just happened in front of my eyes. After CIA agents took the person in custody also I calm down and started asking questions to understand what is going on.

Doctor X took me aside and started explaining the full story. Earlier that day Doctor X sensed there was going to be a big blast at the stadium during the final Football game today, that was the game I was going to. He called over the CIA and other superheros by using his telepathic sense which he could get hold off, to meet at the football stadium immediately. He started searching the football stadium looking for the bomb, he could sense that there were multiple bombs, but it was difficult to locate them due to a lot of metal – iron – concrete in the stadium. Finally he found the location of the first bomb, which was located inside a wending machine, like a candy bar. After he disarmed that one, he immediately started searching the other, he found the location for the second one which was located in the players change room under the bench. Once he got that one disarmed every one was relaxed, as all thought that was it. Suddenly Doctor X got frozen, as he sensed another bomb and much bigger one. He was struggling to locate this bomb, he could not feel it, he could not hear it! He started pushing his limits, others could see the pain, sadness and anger on his face, he was trying his best. 

He run to the middle of the football field and asked to dig the ground. Then that was it, he found the last bomb which was 10 times bigger and stronger then the other two bombs. He was the superhero who saved the day. But it was not done yet, he had to find the person who was responsible of these bombs. Using his super vision and hearing, he search the area. He located the person, who was hiding in the nearby supermarket.

That is why Doctor X and CIA agents came over the supermarket to capture him. Once the bomber saw the CIA agents, he started shooting and that is when Doctor X has saved my life.

I will never forget this day and what a superhero is Doctor X!
